Our Trip to the Sheldonian and Blackwells Bookshop
On Friday 1 February we paid a trip into Oxford to go to the Sheldonian Theatre to go to a concert. The teachers had the great idea that while we were in Oxford, we could visit Blackwells bookshop as well.......
Winter Concert at the Sheldonian Theatre
This was organised by the Oxfordshire County Council Music Service. The programme, performed by the Central Music School Orchestra included ‘Lord of the Rings’ by Howards Shore, ‘Karelia Suite, First movement’ by Sibelius, ‘Capriccio Italien’ by Tchaikovsky, ‘Crazy for You’ by Gershwin. We had a really good view of the orchestra ..........

We even got to sing ourselves......

Blackwells bookshop
Before the concert we visited Blackwells bookshop. We were shown round by the staff who told us all about the shop and the books in it. The School Council bought some carefully selected books, and we were all given a goody bag to take home, including a book in each one.

When we got back we wrote to say thank you.......

Thank you Blackwells!
