Class 1 picnic
Class 1 had a picnic on the green after completing their class reward chart (Elmer). We baked our own biscuits in class, for the occasion.
Class 1 gardening
Class 1 have been planting broad beans, potatoes and a variety of flowers in connection with their science curriculum, and we are also taking part in the 'Year of food and farming' which aims to promote farms, the work they do, and to enhance the children's knowledge of where their food comes from: from field to fork.
