OFSTED inspection 2011

The overall effectiveness of the school was judged to be good, with some areas graded as outstanding. We felt the inspection process was fair and professional. We are obviously extremely pleased with the outcome and think that it truly reflects our school and the huge amount of effort and commitment that is put into it by everyone.

The report does highlight some areas for development and we will build these into the new School Development Plan. Of course, we shall  continue to work to make the school even better.

Church of England inspection report (2011)

The church inspection took place in March 2011.  The team judged the distinctiveness and effectiveness of Marsh Baldon as a Church of England school as good.

They said 'This small rural primary school, together with the parish church, is at the heart of its local community. Christian values underpin the ethos of the school and the excellent relationships are conducive to effective academic learning and to fostering pupils’ personal development.'
