The Magic Box

The Magic Box by Harry

I will put in the box
A large elephant who goes on the trampoline
A syrupy flat pancake
The sun on the jewelled grass

My box is fashioned from metal and water and lava
With fire on the lid and darkness on the corner
Its hinges are made of grass

I shall swim on the box over the pebbles on the beach to Brighton.

The Magic Box by Edward

I will put in the box
A chocolate cake drooling in your mouth
A glittering jewel in the sun
A horse galloping on the beach

I will put in the box
The taste of fish in the sea
Cheesecake being served in a kitchen
Lions feasting on zebras in Africa

I will put in the box
The noise of crackling bacon
A whale singing in the ocean
The sound of trees in the wind

The box is fashioned from
Ruby diamonds and ice crystals
With rabbit ears on the lid and claws in the corners
Its hinges are made out of teeth
I shall fly on my box to Spain and over the mountains and sunset

The Magic Box by Carys

I will put in the box
A lion’s first roar
The swish of air from the May Pole ribbons
Respect from a class of 100

I will put in the box
Words written in Greek
First tick of a clock
A child’s lunch

My box is fashioned from hair of 100 mermaids
With sunlight on the lid and stars in the corner
Its hinges are the nostrils of dragons

I shall sail on my box on the great waves of the seven seas and land on a tropical island with colours of the rainbow

The Magic Box by Maddie

I will put in the box
The tail of a sparkling mermaid
Sparkling crystals from beach cliffs
Sparkling ribbons from the May Pole

I will put in the box
Reflecting shininess of high lighted hair
The dreamy patterns of a spider’s web
Sandy banks beside Egyptian rivers

My box is fashioned from shiny oak wood and scales from fish in the Atlantic with mysterious galaxies on the lid and frost from icebergs in the corners.
Its hinges are the armour from a woodlouse

I shall ride on my box on the bottom of the reef, I will re-surface through the ice and swim to an island made of crystal bells

The Magic Box by Joanna

I will put in the box
A magical wand
The petals from a beautiful rose
A sword from a handsome prince

I will put in the box
A beautiful starry night
A horse with a tossing mane
A multi-coloured carpet

I will put in the box
The glow of a wishing star
The whiskers of a purring kitten
Three flowers in a pot

My box is fashioned from Snow and Silver and Jewels
With hearts on lid and glitter in the corners. The hinges are a kangaroo’s foot

I shall fly on my box over shiny streets, colourful cars, blue seas to the shimmering streets of Liverpool.
