The longer lesson on Tuesday mornings is concentrating on developing skills needed for travelling with and passing a ball, we are also thinking about the effects of exercise on our bodies. Wednesday afternoons are gym at Berinsfield Sports Centre. Children need PE kits with trainers in school.
RE ~ First half of the term we are learning about the story of Joseph and his coat of many colours. In the second half of the term we will be looking at the events in the week leading up to Easter Sunday.
PSHE ~ 'Going for Goals' looking at keeping going, having a goal and how to achieve it and 'Good to be me' in the second half of term.
Homework ~ This will be given out by Mrs Stafford weekly on a Tuesday to be handed in the following Monday. Mrs Bull will give science homework occasionally throughout the term.
Reading ~ As well as hearing your child read, it is helpful to talk with them about the book they are reading. When you have finished reading it would be helpful if you could ask them a few questions about the book. 'What happened?' 'Is it an interesting book?' 'Why?' 'What do they like/not like about it?' 'Which is their favourite character?' etc...
